The Eight Effect Foundation invests in the people, ideas, relationships, and resources that make communities stronger.

Rooted in our belief that equity begins with access, we create and support pathways for people to lead, serve, connect, tell their stories, and contribute their talents to their communities.

We mobilize philanthropic resources to help make community-centered programs and opportunities available to those who might otherwise be unable to participate. 

 In doing so, we help turn community assets into community impact. 

We believe communities already possess extraordinary knowledge, talent, creativity, and potential. Our work is to help make those assets visible, connected, and supported so more people have the opportunity to participate in shaping the communities they call home.

The Foundation grew from the work of The Eight Effect and operates as an independent nonprofit organization committed to expanding opportunity and investing in community possibility.
